Even an avid golfer will have questions that need answers and they will turn to the golf pro at their favorite golf course to get answers. Some of the questions might concern the sale of equipment at the golf shop and others might entail more serious matters like how they can get scheduled for an earlier tee time. They know that the golf pro is the person that they should turn to concerning any matter about the game of golf. Some golfers simply want to improve their putting skills. The golf pro might give them good advice on how to improve their stance because the way the body is positioned has a lot to do with determining the direction that the ball will go when it is hit by the putter on any part of the golf course. Other helpful advice offered by the golf pro might include when the use of a putter is considered appropriate. A new golfer will find that taking some good advice from the golf pro will ensure that they learn about the game from somebody who is considered an expert. The golf pro can put a new golfer on their schedule and through weekly practice sessions, offer them advice on how to stand, swing, and store their golfing equipment. The golf pro will routinely hold classes throughout the week for new golfers. There are many different choices in golf clubs that a golfer can select and some of those selections can be quite confusing. These golf clubs are usually displayed in the Pro Shop along with various golf shirts and golf accessories. When taking some good advice from the golf pro about the clubs that they should select, the golfer should be ready to order golf clubs when the golf pro shows them the right-sized golf clubs that he recommends that they buy from him. The new designs in golf clubs will not typically last long in a golf pro shop. The golf pro advises all players about them through a weekly newsletter or word of mouth. Some of the new selections will be irons but there will be several styles offered for woods. Knowing which ones to purchase is one of the finest pieces of advice that a new golfer can get from the golf course golf professional. For those golfers that learn to pay attention to conversations that people have on the course, they might overhear helpful advice that someone else heard from the golf pro. Many of these tips will help improve their game average because the advise will be about how to get a ball out of the rough or the best way to hit a golf ball when it is sitting on an incline. The golf pro might even tell them some personal preferences on hitting a ball down a fairway. Any advice from the golf pro is advice that should at least be listened to and written down later in the day.

Surefire ways to repair your credit
If you have bad credit, are in debt, or are tired of getting turned down for credit or loans, then this is for you. A lot of people assume there are no negative marks on their credit report, when in fact there may be errors contained in your report that you don't even know about. Your credit history is a record of how you are currently managing your credit accounts and how you have handled your credit in the past. If you have bad credit, you may find it difficult to get loans, mortgages, credit cards, or do things that require a good credit history. There are proven techniques you can use to get your life back together. The first step is to review your credit report. Before you start guessing about your credit report, order a copy of your report. If you have been denied credit within the past 60 days, the credit bureau will provide you with a copy of your report free. Once you have received your report, carefully review the items and note any inaccurate, incorrect, erroneous, misleading, or outdated information. If you are showing negative items you will want to have them removed. To dispute a negative item on your report, contact the credit bureau that supplied the report and tell them what information you believe is inaccurate. Send your letter by certified mail, return receipt requested. You do not want any creditor or credit bureau claiming they did not receive your request. Once the credit bureau receives your dispute letter, they are obligated to investigate it and inform you of the results of the investigation. They must provide you with an updated copy of your report. If you disagree with the outcome, you can add a consumer statement to your credit file. The law allows you to file a short statement of 100 words or less on your behalf. The credit bureau is obligated to provide that information to anyone reviewing your credit report. You may ask that a corrected version of the report be sent to any businesses that received a report on you within the past six months. Job applicants can have corrected versions of their report sent to any employers who received a report for employment purposes during the past two years. Here are several ways you can begin to rebuild your credit history: Apply for a charge account at a local department store. Stores will often make you a loan, by means of a charge card. Make sure you will be able to repay the bills on time. Ask a relative or friend with a good credit record to cosign on your application for a small loan. Pay back the loan exactly according to the terms. Deposit funds with a financial institution to serve as a collateral for a loan or credit card. Now that you have the right information, you can look forward to a brand new life with good credit.
Pruning your trees
Pruning Your Trees If you have just entered the tree growing world, you have no doubt heard the term “pruning” tossed around by the more veteran growers. Well, I have something to admit. For several years, I did not even know what pruning was. I heard the term a lot, but I never felt comfortable asking someone what exactly it was. Even though it would have benefited my gardening and tree growing, I was too prideful to ask. I’ve found that pride is the reason for the failure of many great endeavors; if I had just asked someone what pruning was, I wouldn’t have undergone a few of the disasters that occurred during my first years of gardening. Pruning is the removal of dead or unneeded branches to encourage the growth of flowers. Usually a tree will end up devoting energy to branches that don’t need it, while neglecting branches which are bearing more fruit. If you remove the branches that are taking all the nutrients, you will begin to see a flourish in the other ones. Pruning also keeps the tree in shape by keeping the branches even. This prevents it from becoming weighed down on one side. Having too many branches on one side could cause the tree to become permanently crooked. Many gardeners don’t even think about pruning their trees until they start to bear fruit. This is a big mistake, and you should never neglect to care for a tree just because it hasn’t yet begun to produce. During the entire process of growth, you should prune the tree in a way that it is even and uniform. Then, when it does start to produce fruit, the results will be significantly greater. It is very easy to tell the difference between a tree that has been pruned regularly during its growth, and one that has been neglected. Generally the shape of the tree is much more natural looking if it has been pruned. The first thing to look for when you start pruning is any branches which are dead or diseased. These are quite easy to recognize. Usually they don’t bear any fruit, and might be misshapen or discolored. Don’t hesitate at all in chopping these guys off, as they are nothing but detrimental to the health of your tree. Sometimes a branch can be dead or diseased without making it too obvious. If this is the case, simply wait until the tree is flowering and it will become obvious by not growing anything. The second type of branch to look for is the branch that is too close in range to all the other ones. If it grows at such a length and angle that the end is right next to all the other branches, they might end up crowding each other out. Take off the smaller of the two branches to allow the larger one to have the breathing room that it needs. This same rule applies to the weight balance of your tree. Sometimes, for reasons we will never understand, a tree will grow several branches on one side and weigh itself into being lopsided. So hopefully I have provided you with a basic knowledge of pruning. There are more situations and types of branches that require pruning, but what I’ve outlined is the very basic parts. These can alter depending on how old your tree is. For example, for the first 3 years of a tree’s growth it requires pruning that follows more “formative” guidelines. After the tree is well established, you will need to use “regulatory” pruning to keep it where you would like it to be. There are entire books written on how to prune trees depending on how old they are. There are far too many techniques for me to go over, so if you want to use these advanced techniques then you should go to your local library and check out a book. (Word Count: 652)

He has never failed in His promise, so I cannot fail in my service to Him." - William Carey 1761-1834), Baptist missionary to India Poor Stewardship "A lot of people are willing to give God the credit, but not too many are willing to give Him the cash." - Anonymous Eternal Rewards for Giving "You can't take it with you, but you can send it on ahead." - anonymous The Unbaptized Arm There is a story told about Ivan the Great who ruled Russia as Czar in the 15th century. He was a warrior, a fighter, and a conqueror of kingdoms. The Soviet Union as we knew it a few years ago was basically put into place by Ivan the Great. Ivan was so busy doing battle that some of his comrades became concerned because he hadn't taken time to get married and have a family. They came to him and said “You've got to get married because you've got to have an heir to the throne.” But Ivan said “I want to do battle and to conquer more territory, you go find a wife for me.” So they did. Ivan's men found a wife for him from the daughter of the king of Greece , a beautiful girl. They said to Ivan, “We found a wife for you, but there's one problem.” “What's that?” he asked. “If you're going to marry her, you have to be Greek Orthodox,” they said. Ivan the Great said, “Well, if you think she'd make a good wife for me, that's no problem, I could be Greek Orthodox.” The king of Greece was thrilled with this because it meant that Ivan wasn't going to invade his territory. So the Greeks sent tutors to Russia to tutor Ivan and 500 of his elite soldiers, everyone a great warrior. The soldiers required tutoring because Ivan said, “If I'm going to be Greek Orthodox, they're going to be Greek Orthodox.” They tutored all these men in the Greek Orthodox faith and finally Ivan and the soldiers went down to Greece for the wedding. But before the marriage they had to be baptized into the Greek Orthodox church. It was an incredible sight as thousands of people came to watch Ivan the Great and his 500 soldiers all wade into the water at one time to be baptized by immersion into their new church. 500 soldiers with full armor and 500 Greek Orthodox priests were standing in the blue water of the Mediterranean Sea for the baptism, when all of a sudden the king of Greece said, “We've got a problem.” The problem was that in the Greek Orthodox church you could not be a warrior and a member of the church at the same time. So they held a hastily-called diplomatic meeting in the water to ask, "How are we going to work this out?" They came up with a simple answer. Just before the priests immersed the soldiers, each man took out his sword, held it high above the water, and allowed the priest to baptize everything but his sword arm. This came to be known as “the unbaptized arm.” There are many Christians today who have unbaptized checkbooks. They have dedicated every part of their life to God except their money. As someone has said, "The last thing to be converted is our pocketbook."

Car insurance shopping and how to save money on gas
Copyright 2006 Barry Brenner With the price of gas at an all time high, and no relief in site, consumers are looking for more ways to save money on gas. Consider saving money on your car insurance to offset the high cost of gas. Today, millions of car insurance consumers are buying their car insurance policies on the telephone and the Internet. Insurance companies are spending more money than ever on advertising. Rate quotes and policies are available through a multitude of web sites, from insurance companies direct, to web sites that offer multiple quotes from a single application. With this increasing demand for car insurance rate quotes via telephone and the Internet, decisions about cost and coverages are being made faster than ever. Is the average car insurance consumer getting the correct policy at the best possible price? Can the consumer lower their cost of transportation by saving money on their car insurance? Many car insurance consumers are not aware of the numerous discounts available on car insurance policies today. Check out the following list of some of these discounts and see if any of them apply to you. A multi-car discount will lower the premium on each vehicle on the same policy. Some companies will sell you a separate policy for each vehicle and still give you the multi-car discount. Keep in mind there can be overhead or additional cost for each policy, so having all of your vehicles on the same policy could save you money. Most insurance companies will give full time high school or college students with a 3.0 or higher grade point average a discount. This discount could be as high as fifteen percent on the primary vehicle that the student drives. If the premium for the student driver is one to two thousand dollars per year, a good student discount could be a savings of one hundred fifty to three hundred dollars per year. Multiply that by the number of years in school, and that will add up to a huge savings. Some insurance companies will give you an occupational discount depending on your educational background and job title. Teachers, Medical Professionals, Scientists, Engineers, Computer Professionals, and other jobs that require a college degree, license, or certification. An anti-theft discount can lower the comprehensive (theft & vandalism) portion of the policy premium. This is generally considered to be a Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) based system where your car can be located via a satellite if it is stolen. Some companies offer a 2% to 15% discount to active and retired members of the military. Department of Motor Vehicle certified mature driving courses are available for senior citizens and can lower your premium as much as ten percent. And of course, maintaining a good driving record will allow your insurance carrier to give you a good driver discount and keep your rates down. “Who is happy with the price of gas today? Consumer advocate studies show that the first and foremost reason people are over paying premium-wise for auto insurance is that they don’t take the time and effort to shop around and compare prices. Cost savings on a policy can add up to hundreds of dollars per year, if you know what to look for and ask. And, shopping for car insurance has never been easier.”
Wedding planning insights how to plan the perfect wedding day
There is a great deal of planning that goes into any large event but a wedding takes a lot of planning and organising. You have to make sure that the venue is booked, the dress fits, the bridesmaids have their dresses, the flowers are going to be there, the minister is well, the music is still on, the reception hall is ready, the guest are coming, your bride or groom is coming and the rings are there! Like I said: a lot of planning for a wedding!!! A wedding needs to be carried out with most organising as possible, everything should run smoothly without any hitches and that requires a lot of planning. Usually families and friends get together to sort out the wedding but sometimes people hire a wedding planner! They are quite expensive but have a lot of expertise in the field of weddings; I think that they have a great job! Wedding planning requires a knack, a knack to know how things work and how things will go, you need to be confident enough to ensure that the day runs as smooth as a lake and not like a waterfall, in fact water features are great at a wedding keep that in mind! There are great tips and advice to help your wedding planning go a lot easier and a lot less stressful. On the internet there are articles, and tools to help you keep your wedding calm, there are also lots of television shows in channels like the discovery channel which are full of informative ideas for your wedding and how to plan things such as the flowers, the cake and the dress. One of the great tips I like is to make a checklist, sit down and think of everything that needs to be done a few weeks before the planning starts, so if you forget anything you have a few weeks to make sure everything is on the list, an even bigger tip is not to loose the list!!! Not to mention make sure that you stick to your budget as weddings can be very expensive but they can also cost a lot less if you do proper planning and budgeting.
